Bug Name: Display font garbled/unreadable
Status: New
Priority: High
Date: 10th Jun 2009
Project Link: WhereAmI
Bug in SDK: S60v3
Bug Report: I installed signed WhereAmI on my Nokia N73 ME (Symbian S60v3), and it appears that WhereAmI might be using some strange font instead of the regular one. Every letter is replaced by a "square", while numbers are displayed properly.

I cannot attach image, so I'll post links to screenshots: i44.tinypic.com i39.tinypic.com

I fumbled about in the menus and noticed that on display settings default language was set to some strange language that starts with L (it sounded like it might be African). I changed it to English, but still only squares. Not sure this setting has anything to do with main display, or just with map data.

I rated this high priority because it makes the program completely unusable, at least for me.

I'm open for additional info and potential testing.

Viktor

P.S. Seems that GPS communication works fine, because at some point I did see the coordinates and such displayed, numbers are readable.
