Question:
(N7710) I keep getting asked to permit 'Position requests'

Answer:
Set a rule to always accept - be careful to untick 'Notify when position sent' as this would result in notifications each second!

Question:
(N7710) I keep getting connection request dialogues?

Answer:
Pair your phone with your GPS device - through control panel - bluetooth - paired devices - search

Question:
(9500) I keep getting error messages when trying to load/save map content?

Answer:
There appear to be some errors in the dbms code, if you get stuck and closing/restarting the application does not fix your problems then you can save the data that you've entered yourself by renaming your db file (found in the whereami directory) to whereami.recoverme.db (from whereami.db).

On next load when it makes a new database it will then copy the named items from the recover me one. You can then delete the recoverme version once you've checked that they are all safely in the new db.

Note: You will lose all download map content.

Question:
(9300) Whenever I try to connect I get a 'Permission Denied'/'Connect Failed' message?

Answer:
This is probably because your device is not permitting access to the location API, you need to enable it:
Control Panel - Extras - Location Privacy
Set to 'Accept all' rather than 'Reject all'
